Synopsis:
On the first anniversary of his wife Sheila's death, a wealthy movie producer hosts a party aboard his yacht for a group of his show business friends to play a scavenger hunt-style mystery game. The game turns out to be all too real and all too deadly.

  • Bette Midler's song "Friends" plays during the end credits.
  • In 1974, Anthony Perkins and Stephen Sondheim won the Edgar Award (named after Edgar Allan Poe) from the Mystery Writers of America for their screenplay for this film.
