  • The first sequence, titled Hero, is told in the lurid style of an episode of a tabloid television news magazine. The second sequence, Horror, is an homage to the black and white psychotropic horror films of the mid-1960s. The third sequence, Homo, is an adaptation in part of Jean Genet's book The Miracle of the Rose, and directly references the style and setting of Genet's short film Un Chant D'Amour.
